The fitness center requires some wrk - the eliptic machines' handles are partly covered with some tape that has already partly come off, the t.v attached to each and every machinery in thd fitness room iz either not connected of does not work properly.
The location, cleanliness, and friendly staff. It's also nice to have a restaurant/bar on site. I also had a great rate through Booked.net.
The heater/AC unit in my room was very loud. I finally turned it off but then it got a little stuffy in the room.
Everyone on staff was not only courteous, but helpful above expectations. We were there for our nieces wedding, so we also enjoyed the library, & ballroom. We would not only stay again, but recommend it to others.
very spacious room, and convenient location.
I know this may sound weird, but the mattress was too soft and had trouble sleeping.
The beds were amazing , place very clean , pool was beautiful
Very nice room and beds for $100.00 a night. Nice indoor pool and work out room. The staff is really great. Very nice and helpful.
If you are used to breakfast, stay on the Express side. A Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express in one building. A little confusing, not stated on the internet. If you stay on the Express side you have a nice breakfast included. If you stay on the Holiday Inn side you have to go to the restaurant and pay.
The restaurant was good
The Jacuzzi in my original room leaked and I had to change rooms on my second night.
Pool, room, and bar/restaurant (James) were very nice.
We had, of course, booked it through Booked.net, but desk staff didn't seem to know what to do, attempted to charge us more, and we had to come back 3 different times to stand at the check-in desk while they tried to figure out how to charge us. We literally wasted at least an hour while each one consulted another one. We even left without it being resolved, as we had to be somewhere.
The hotel was very good overall
my largest con was that we were expecting to do a workout in the indoor pool, but were told that the boiler was not working and the water was 50 degrees. I am in the heating business and can't understand why the boiler could not have been repaired?
Room was quite large and was well appointed
There was a fight going on in another room not far from us around 3-30am, When we checked out I said to receptionist about it and she just seemed to ignore it as if it was a common occurrence.
My Kiddo's love it
Day two the James room waitress was horrible
We did not get the room we booked! We made reservations almost a year ago and I also confirmed our room the day before arriving. I was told I had a room that slept 4 people --a king suite. When we checked in, only a king bed there. No suite.EVERY single employee passed the blame onto the previous person. Said that when booking a king suite not all have a sleeper sofa--even tho person on phone confirmed we had enough beds for 4 ppl.no one took responsibility. We never got enough beds. At 230pm we were told a bed was on its way. We returned 10pm no bed but bed was coming right up. No bed. We walked to front desk--said they couldn't access closet where beds were b/c they didn't have the key. Told us there was no additional room on our floor. Now 1020pm.She blamed lady who checked us in. I said we need room for 4 ppl to sleep--is there another room ANYwhere in hotel. She silently, unprofessionally and angrily started looking on computer and then unprofessionally handed me keys. I asked what this was. She said a room with 2 queens. It happened to be two doors down from our room. We finally had a place to sleep. Now after 1030pm and awaking at 5am for son's graduation. The ONLY thing staff was good at was passing the blame onto their co-workers. What a culture!!! VERY unprofessional. I've NEVER had such an experience. This easily could have been addressed by offering us an additional room right away and with a smile--or perhaps giving us the room that we confirmed originally!. They were just the most unprofessional staff we have ever experienced at similar hotels.
Front desk person - Beth - was very helpful obtaining directions to a local park.
shower instead of a bathtub in the room.
The staff was really friendly
the beds were not that comfortable and the area was a little sketchy
the bed was comfortable
well the fact that I have a 2 yr old daughter and she accidentally spilled juice on the bed and they charged me for it but did not inform me they were doing so ahead of time.
